Beach people – Hermosa Chamber recognizes Thompson, Villalobos
Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau will present its Man and Woman of the Year awards at its annual gala on Feb. 10. This year’s honorees were Hermosa Beach Police Lt. Tom Thompson and Dr. Alice Villalobos. Thompson is a 37 year Hermosa department veteran and longtime proponent of community policing. Veterinarian Villalobos had been caring for the community’s animals for nearly four decades.
