The Hermosa Beach Historical Society continued its annual “Dancing through the Decades” last month with an “Eighties Glitzy Prom,” featuring period dress, food from The Bottle Inn, wine from Uncorked and music by Juke Box. Proceeds will benefit the Historical Museum’s many programs, including its lecture series and popular Happy Hour With History. This Friday, Dec. 13, the Historical Society will host a reception at the museum at 5:30 for a screening in the Community Theater of the “Warren Miller’s Timeless at 7:30.” Miller, a Hermosa Beach native, passed away in 2018, but Warren Miller Productions continues the five decade tradition of getting skiers excited about the new ski season with a new ski film.
