Best crepe: Crème de la Crepe

We remember when there was just one Crème de la Crepe, and some people scoffed that the South Bay needed a restaurant that mainly sold French stuffed pancakes. Obviously we approved, since they have not only thrived but now have six locations from Long Beach to Pasadena. Three of those locations are in the South Bay, and they all serve the same meals that brought the place fame – French specialties like beef bourguignon, raclette and of course the famous crepes. Those can be stuffed with scrambled eggs and cheese in the morning or scallops and shrimp with white wine sauce in the evening, but they are always delicious. The buckwheat batter produces a marvelous crisp pancake for the savory items, while sweet crepes filled with fruit, nutella, banana, chocolate, and other delicacies are made with a different four mix. Crème de la Crepe offers true French tradition at a modest price at all their locations, and our readers love them for it.
