We are so proud that Trotter Orthodontics has been chosen as Best of the Beach for Orthodontics for 2021. We feel blessed that our practice has been able to provide orthodontic care in the Riviera Village for over 54 years, with the establishment of the practice in 1968 by Dr. Trotter’s partner, Dr. Edward Givins. Dr. Trotter joined Dr. Givins in 1994 and has been in solo practice since 2002. There is no where else in the world like the South Bay,…, the people, the families, and the community are second to none. We only exist with their support and we look forward to continuing to provide the absolute best orthodontic treatment for another 54 years. In addition to private practice, Dr. Trotter is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthodontics and has been an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Graduate Orthodontic Department of the USC School of Dentistry for 17 years. He is a Past President of the California Association of Orthodontists and lives locally with his wife, Irene, a dental hygienist. Timothy Hoopes
Timothy Hoopes has been practicing dentistry in the South Bay for 30 years. Hoopes tries to work hand-in-hand with his patients, keeping an open mind and an informative approach to care. “Having a smaller office means we can spend more time with patients,” he says.
“When a patient comes in and says they don’t understand something, that means I need to explain it more thoroughly. We always want our patients to be informed.”
First and foremost, says Hoopes, is making everyone feel like a person rather than just a patient. “Building relationships is important,” he says.
