Galloping Snails Camp

1st and 2nd graders will be amazed at discovering the uniqueness of sea snails and much more Cabrillo Marine Aquarium’s week-long Science at the Seashore program “Galloping Snails and Other Fishy Tales.” Activities include handling and observing live marine animals, teeny-tiny baby sea snails and slugs with plankton nets and microscopes, discovering what lives in coastal, squishy mud, participating in ecological games and many art and craft projects to bring home. Instruction and observation in the laboratory and aquarium includes daily walking trips out to the surrounding habitats of the sandy beach, rocky shore and salt marsh. Sailing Sunday Invite

South Bay Sailing invites you to Sailing Sunday (the first Sunday of each month).  Show up at noon or any time throughout the day. $35 per person (family discount available) includes sailing and a potluck BBQ. The boats will be sailing on and off the dock, and the grill will be going all day, so please feel free to bring anything you would like to share or have grilled. Kayaks will also be available.  This informal and family friendly day is a great chance to meet other sailors and get back on the water!
