CenterCal, developers of The Waterfront project in Redondo Beach, has released a high-definition video they’re calling a “virtual tour.” Their video details the history of Redondo Beach’s waterfront area, saying that, at one point, it was “Southern California’s premier beach destination.”

The video also features a series of interviews with stakeholders and shop-owners from around the Pier and International Boardwalk, including Glenn Webb, of the Paddle House, and Robbie Meistrell of Body Glove. “If The Waterfront project goes, I think the future of Redondo Beach is going to be bright,” Meistrell said.

The Draft Environmental Impact Report, detailing the specifics of the project, will be released tomorrow, Nov. 17, and discussed at a Redondo Beach City Council meeting that night.

The city will also host three public workshops: On Sat., Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 300 N. Harbor Dr.; Wed., Dec. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Redondo Beach Main Library, 403 N. Pacific Coast Highway; and Sat., Jan. 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., also at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
