The Grand Prize winner of Easy Reader/Beach magazine’s 45th Anniversary Photography contest was submitted by Torrance resident Mike Barbee. His photo of a wave lapping over a rock reminds us of where we live and what we might face in the future from global warming. The Torrance resident says of his work, “I simply seek scenes that have a special light, moment, or invoke an emotion.”
