PLANT at ESMoA
PLANT invites visitors to peek inside the studio of Amely Spoetzl, to explore her artworks, urban interventions, photographs, drawings, sculptures and more. The experience will include an interactive component Thicket, where the visitor can contribute to its formation, using drawing tools created by the artist. The ESMoA Experience Award recipient for PLANT is Jasmine Nyende, a LA-based new media artist, whose work includes poetry, fiber art, and experimental performance. 1 – 4 p.m. El Segundo Museum of Art (ESMoA), 208 Main St., El Segundo. Caroling at the library

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, more than one million units of blood will be needed for transfusions in the United States. Individuals are urged to give a lifesaving gift this holiday season by making an appointment to donate blood or platelets and help the American Red Cross ensure a sufficient supply is available for patients throughout the holiday season.
