The races for State Assembly District 66 and Hermosa Beach Measure Q have tightened even further in the latest release of votes from the LA County Registrar’s office.
AD 66 – 2,270 additional votes counted
Republican David Hadley’s lead over incumbent Democrat Al Muratsuchi has decreased to only 745 votes.
Q: – 131 additional votes counted
The “Yes” percentage goes to 54.36%, from 54.18%. A 55% vote level is required for passage.
In the Beach Cities Health District race, incumbent Noel Chun’s second place lead over incumbent Joanne Edgerton has increased to 73 votes from 30. Michelle Bholat remains safely in first place.
An estimated 21,000 votes remain to be counted. The vote totals must be certified by the LA County Board of Supervisors by December 2.
