Fashion designer Sally Poppe with her 1964 Type-III Notchback, a rare car that was never imported into the U.S. Poppe made the 1960s era, Chicago dress in Sea Blue to match the color of her Volkswagen.
“I love vintage dresses because of the timeless style, detail and high quality. Just like my vintage car, a quality dress can last you a lifetime,” Poppe said.

El Segundo’s Automobile Driving Museum hosted its All Women’s Car Show and Vintage Fashion Exchange last month. Women bring their own cars and fashions for the annual event.

The museum’s next car show is the “Malaise Daze,” celebrating “lovable, mediocre cars from 1972 to 1995. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A Studio 54 themed after party starts at 8 p.m. For more details visit Automobiledrivingmuseum.org
