Redondo Beach will observe Veterans Day 2018 at the Veterans Memorial in beautiful Veterans Park by the Redondo Pier at 1 PM on Sunday, 11th of November The event will include reflection and remembrance, music, commentary and honors to all those members of the armed forces who supported our nation in the uniform of their country.
Veterans Day is a time to honor all those who have served in the military… This Veterans Day is the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day.
The end of World War 1, the war to end all wars and the origin’s of Veterans Day…….
Local elected officials and military dignitaries will participate.
Music provided by Mr Raymundo Vizcarra and the Redondo Beach Wind Ensemble The Redondo Union High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC,
the Coastal Naval Sea Cadets and the Boy Scouts Troop #378 are supporting the event.
Donations and contributions still being accepted for the Redondo Veterans Memorial.

The ceremony will be followed by a BBQ picnic sponsored by the Redondo Elks
Lodge #1378 in the Elks parking lot south of their building next to Veterans Park.
The BBQ is free for all veterans and members of the military,police officers and firefighters.
