Former Hennessey’s Chief Financial Officer James Cram

Former Hennessey’s Chief Financial Officer James Cram was arrested Thursday morning by Redondo Beach Police Detectives for allegedly embezzling an estimated $1,146,000.

According to an RBPD press release, detectives obtained an arrest warrant consisting of 19 felony counts of grand theft, money laundering and tax evasion. The arrest was the culmination of an investigation concerning Cram’s alleged embezzlement both of monies from Hennessey’s Inc. as well as directly from owners, Paul and Jennifer Hennessey. According to detectives, Cram worked for Hennessey’s between 2006 and 2010.

Cram is currently being held the RBPD jail under $500,000 bail.
