The body of a 20-year-old woman was found Wednesday on the rooftop balcony of a home she was visiting in Hermosa Beach. Her name was being withheld until her relatives could be informed.
The woman arrived about 3 a.m. at the home on Ocean View, in the south part of town, and about noon a male friend who lives there found her on the balcony with no signs of life, police said.
The man called 911, and Hermosa Beach Fire Department firefighter-paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office recovered the body and will investigate to determine the cause of death.
