Pier-2-Pier Run/Walk this Saturday
GI Joe Boot Camp and the City of Hermosa Beach host the tri-annual Pier-2-Pier Sand Run/Walk 7 a.m. Saturday, June 11 at the Hermosa Beach Pier, “located at 1 Pier Ave. in Hermosa Beach.”
Joe Charles, aka GI Joe, has hosted the event for the past 11 years. The Hermosa Beach Community Center has partnered with GI Joe Boot Camp to offer this approximately four mile “trip in the sand” – almost a mile more than a traditional 5k route.

The summer run/walk will feature professional timing, a post-event awards party with refreshments, giveaways and entertainment.
