 Loyola Marymount and Manduka host Project: Om, benefiting breast cancer, Saturday morning.

Project: Om

Project: Om, a yoga event intended to battle breast cancer “one more mat at a time,” takes place at Loyola Marymount University Sept. 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day will feature a yoga class taught by celebrated teacher Kelsey Patel and live music by Spencer Ludwig and DJ White Shadow. $40 general admission, $11 for LMU students, $100 VIP pass includes a yoga mat and goodie bag. Street food cinema

La La Land plays outside the Westdrift hotel Saturday night.

Street Food Cinema, an LA-based production company that combines outdoor movies, food trucks, and live music, comes to Manhattan Beach Saturday, 8th for a showing of “La La Land” on the Westdrift hotel golf course. Food trucks will include Achara Filipino BBQ & Bowls, BBQ Smokehouse, Boba Ni Tacos, Cousins Maine Lobster, Humble Crust Pizza, Original Gourmet Kebab, Pinch of Flavor, Richeeze Melts, The Falafel Factory, Triple Threat Truck, Word of Mouth, Blast Ice Cream, G.O. Pub at the Club

The Manhattan Beach Badminton Club hosts its 3rd Annual Pub at the Club Sept. 9, featuring a tasting of over 21 craft brews and ciders, 11 wineries, and eight restaurants.
