Homeless count
The City is seeking volunteers to help with LA County’s annual homeless count. The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) conducts the count, which is intended to help gain an understanding of trends in homelessness throughout the county. The City will host a deployment site for the 2019 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count at the Joslyn Community Center, 1601 N. Valley Drive on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, from approximately 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Cook-off canceled
The 5th annual South Bay Chili Cook-Off, scheduled to take place at Fire Station #1 on Jan. 26, has been canceled.
