Former state controller and treasurer John Chang will discuss the California state budget in a talk titled “California’s Budget: Education vs. Everything Else” at Mira Costa High School Feb. 24 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. 1401 Artesia Blvd.
State of the City
Mayor Nancy Hersman will give the annual State of the City address and lead a discussion on current and future city projects from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 26 at the Joslyn Community Center (1601 Valley Drive).
