Manhattan Beach Photowalk July 22
Join former USA TODAY columnist and local photographer Jefferson Graham at the Manhattan Beach Pier. Bring your smartphone (or if you prefer, camera) for a social meetup to take memorable photos of the beach. And pick up some tips on how to get better smartphone photos in front of what will hopefully be an awesome sunset.
We’ll meet at 6:30 p.m. at the foot of the Pier.
All are welcome, whether you’re just starting out with your smartphone camera, bought a new camera and barely know how to use it, or are advanced. This is an outing with people who love taking photos.
Sunset is scheduled for 8 p.m.
Jeff knows smartphones in and out. He regularly offers tips on how to get better photos on the Photowalks TV series on Tubi, the free TV streaming app and his popular Photowalks newsletter (http://jeffersongraham.substack.com). And he recently taught a class for the http://www.kelbyone.com website on Street Photography with the iPhone.

Yes, we know Easy Reader and EasyReaderNews.com are free. But they are not free to produce. The advertiser model that traditionally supported newspapers is fading away.
