Car vandalism
Overnight on Dec. 27-28, two cars were vandalized on the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Marine, according to police reports. The windows of both vehicles were damaged, but nothing was reported stolen.
Overnight on Dec. 30-31, a car was broken into on the 800 block of Ocean Drive and a wallet, credit cards, cash, and sunglasses were reported stolen.
On Dec. 30, between 2 and 3:30 p.m., a car was reported broken into through the use of a hidden access key in the El Porto parking lot. A wallet, cell phone, car key, credit card, and cash were stolen.
A man and a juvenile were arrested after allegedly breaking into a car on Ruhland Ave. sometime between the hours of 5 p.m. and 1:15 a.m. Jan. 1-2 on the 1700 block of Ruhland Ave. A glass candle and a purse were stolen, and subsequently returned after the arrest.
