Mira Costa closes in on surf league title

Mira Costa defeated Palos Verdes 83 to 82 Thursday morning in small, mush surf at 27th Street in Manhattan Beach. Mira Costa will claim the league title with a victory at the Jan. 6 rematch. If PV wins in January the title will be decided by a points formula. Photos @civiccouch.com
