Mira Costa (6-5) hosts Newbury Park (12-2) in a non-league contest on Friday.

Redondo didn’t let the loss to Mira Costa deter the team as the Sea Hawks won the Brahmas Winter Classic at Diamond Bar High School last weekend behind a four-goal performance by Tarah Schaffer in the championship game against La Jolla.

Hannah Rome and Klara Goldstein each scored twice and goalie Katherine Wrightsman recorded seven saves in the final.

Redondo defeated Canyon 14-6, Beckman 11-3 and Claremont 14-6 to reach the finals.

The Sea Hawks returned to Bay League action Tuesday with a 12-7 victory over host Palos Verdes. Redondo will host Peninsula on Wednesday.
