With more than five locations in the South Bay, it’s hard to drive anywhere without finding a Trader Joe’s close to your home.
The trendy specialty retail grocery store features fresh, organic produce, frozen food of every variety and even their famous ‘two buck chuck,’ (Charles Shaw wine) my mom taught me about years before I turned 21.
“I come in at least once a week,” said Jean Vasquez from Redondo Beach. “They have a lot of different things and they are priced right. Plus I like their produce and they have lots of things that are healthy.”
They even have a flyer at checkout with recipes, meal ideas and featured products. My personal favorites include the freeze-dried mangos and chocolate covered anything.
