Cancer Support Community-Redondo Beach (CSC-RB), formerly The Wellness Community-South Bay Cities, hosted their 16th annual Celebrate Wellness event in June at the South Coast Botanic Garden on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. More than 600 guests were in great spirits as they sampled tasty fare from 45 restaurants, wineries and breweries that participated in the late afternoon garden party. Performing through the afternoon was the Freedom4U Band. The event generated over $100,000 in net income, which will help fund free support programs for cancer patients and their loved ones. For more information about CSC-RB’s programs call 310-376-3550 or visit their website at www.cancersupportredondobeach.org.
