Woman’s call to police results in her DUI arrest

On Sunday, September 25, 2011 at approximately 3:10 a.m., officers were dispatched to meet with a female who said that she was looking for her sister in the area of Carnelian St. and Juanita Ave. According to a report, when officers arrived, they observed the reporting party arrive and park her vehicle. Upon contact, they suspected that she was under the influence of alcohol.  At one point, her vehicle started rolling as she did not put her vehicle in “park”.  The vehicle rolled into the street and struck the bumper of a marked police vehicle causing minor damage.  The female was arrested for DUI.
