Progress 2012: 20 views on the future of the South Bay
Easy Reader invited 20 South Bay business and civic leaders to share their thoughts on the most significant upcoming changes in their field.
Despite the troubled economy, many of the leaders point to new developments as evidence that the economy is rebounding. Downtown Hermosa Beach and El Segundo’s downtown and highway business districts are benefiting from significant new investment. Redondo’s waterfront is undergoing a transformation, which may include a new, smaller power plant.
Local medical centers are also making significant physical and structural improvements.
