Sixty-one runners gathered Saturday morning at the Shellback Tavern to celebrate having completed every Manhattan Beach 10K run since the race’s founding in 1978. Larry Ott, 55, was the youngest runner at the breakfast. Each of the runners received a poster with art from the race’s 35 T-shirts. The designs are all free of sponsor logos, race co-founder  Russ Lesser pointed out. He added that the  race has raised over $600,000 for local schools and sports programs.  The 35th running of the Manhattan Beach 10 K will be held Saturday, October 6, starting at 7:30 a.m.
