After a two year suspension because of the pandemic, the Hermosa Beach Saint Patrick Parade took up where it left off, with nearly 100 entries. They included Irish dancers, marching bands, elected officials, the Los Angeles Police Department Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, and “Mighty Mike,” Athens’ miniature trash truck. The Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event benefited from a chamber of commerce 70 degree day. Crowds lined the route from the top to the bottom of the parade route.
