Being Jewish

Native plant sale

The Palos Verdes Land Conservancy harvests seeds that have grown for thousands of years on the Peninsula, and then raises them in the Conservancy’s nursery. The sale features colorful native plants that make fertilizers and insecticides virtually unnecessary, and require little or no water. Naturalists are on hand to give advice about the one gallon pots ($8) and smaller pots ($5).
