Movie night

Yuletide 5k

Run, walk, or baby jog along the sea under the full moon! Celebrate the holidays at the most unusual running event in LA. The entire course will be lit by glow sticks to guide you. Bring the whole family, then stay and play at the many fine bars and restaurants in downtown Manhattan Beach.  Kids can do the 5K or compete in the LIttle Elves Dash after the 5K. Adults have a chance to watch the youngsters race up and down at age appropriate distances. Registration is $40 for the 5K and $30 for the kids races. Nutcracker

Relive the classic story of Clara and Fritz as they dream of a land of magic. Revolving around Clara’s broken, and then magically repaired nutcracker, an evening of delight and ballet ensue with familiar favorites brought to life by this special company of dancers. Dance West Dance Studio/Metropolitan Ballet Company presents The Nutcracker. 7 – 10 p.m. James R. Armstrong Theatre, 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance. Car ride

Take a Sunday car ride in a 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible, a 1955 Nash Rambler Cross Country Wagon, or a 1963 Studebaker Avanti.
