Zippi open adoption

Illustrating history

See many of John T. Hales’ sketches and artwork as well as his own words on the meaning of the images of the Hermosa City Seal. Hales devoted his life and art to capture the true essence of Hermosa. South Bay Paddle

The South Bay Paddle is a 15 mile open ocean paddle board race from Hermosa Beach pier to the R10 buoy and back. A qualification race for the Catalina Classic race in August. The event will also include a shorter, 3 mile race, for those new to the sport of paddle boarding. 7 a.m. Race starts and finishes on the south side of the Hermosa Beach Pier. Run for Brock

Sean Brock United States Marine Corps, was killed in Iraq in 2005 by enemy fire. To honor his legacy his brother and close friends decided to form a non-profit foundation that would provide educational assistance to family members of service members who lost their lives or were wounded in combat in order for them to pursue their educational endeavors. 9 a.m. 12501 Vista Del Mar, Playa Del Rey.
