Am Affair to Remember – The women of Special Children’s League celebrated their 53rd annual benefit at the Palos Verdes Country Club on November 19. Following boutique shopping and luncheon, President Linda Igo introduced special guests Ronald S. Cohen, Ph.D. CEO United Cerebral Palsy, and the Education Grant Recipients, that included PVP Unified School District and Hermosa Beach City School District to fund assistive technology benefitting student s with special needs, and scholarships for children to attend Camp Escapades offered by Pediatric Therapy Network in Torrance. Guest speaker was Kathy Buckley, actress, author, comedienne and motivational speaker.
