Affinity Group of the Volunteer Center South Bay-Harbor-Long Beach
Four prominent Palos Verdes men have been named Legends in Our Time by the Volunteer Center’s Affinity Group. William Ailor, Donald Crocker, Robert Medawar and Richard Moe were honored Sunday, May 1 at the Harlyne J. Norris Pavilion in Rolling Hills Estates. This is the 11th year that Affinity has selected PV residents to honor as Legends. For each of the first nine years four women were recognized. “We decided that this was the year that we would recognize four men whose contributions to the community have been superlative. Bill, Don, Bob and Dick are the epitome of what we mean by Legends,” said Jane Jones, Affinity president.
