Spotlight on Athletics – Panther Field Ribbon Cutting

MLB alum join ceremony

Palos Verdes Peninsula High School (PVPHS) celebrated the grand re-opening of Panther Park on January 28. Improvements include upgrades to the infield, outfield and dugouts, as well as new signage. The ribbon cutting ceremony was kicked off with a performance by the PVPHS Spirit Team, followed by remarks by Principal Dr. Brent Kuy Kendall and Athletic Director Frank Califano. Coach Green and Califano then cut the ribbon that spanned the field with the help of alumni and MLB players, Eli Morgan and Don Slaught. They were joined by members of the PVPUSD School Board, PEF, and Little League Leadership, as well as the PVPHS Varsity Baseball and Spirit Teams.
