Spotlight on the hill – Vanderlip Heritage Fundraiser

The Vanderlip Mansion estate was decorated in high style with an elegant French farmhouse flair to welcome guests for a celebration of dancer Isadora Duncan. The evening was hosted by Katrina Vanderlip, granddaughter of the late Frank Vanderlip, who founded Palos Verdes. Over 100 guests attended, including Los Angele County Supervisor Janice Hahn and Rancho Palos Verdes Mayor Susan Brooks. Guests were greeted with wine, followed by spirited laughter and conversation between old and new friends. The a sit down dinner was catered by Michael Franks’ and Robert Bell’s Sea Change beneath a tent that spanned the entire length of the tennis court. Young dancers in flowing dresses performed in the style of Isadora Duncan style.
