Spyder Snowfest returns to Mount Hermosa Beach

A three story high jump with 60 tons of manmade snow from Mountain High blowing machines will transform Pier Avenue in downtown Hermosa Beach into Mount Hermosa on Saturday, Dec. 7. The Third Annual Spyder Snowfest will also have rails and boxes for Mountain High pro skateboarders and amateurs to perform on.

Mountain High pro snowboarders Cory Cronk, Trever Haas and Kyle Lopiccolo will be among the pros competing for the Best Trick award.

The snowboarding exhibition starts at about noon followed by family sledding 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. There will also be sledding for the kids 12:30 – 3, followed by Mountain High pro skateboarders and amateurs performing from 4 – 6:30 p.m.

Spyder Snow Fest partners Monster Energy, Mountain High Resort, Peace Tea and others will offer free merchandise. The vendor village will offer interactive product demos and activities from Burton, Quiksilver, Hurley, Electric, Globe, Sector Nine, Matix, DVS, Oakley, Volcom, Billabong, Arbor, Spy Roxy, Soul, Skull Candy and Mophie. Watermans on PierPlaza will also host a post-Spyder Snow Fest party.
