Mira Costa and Redondo return to Bay League action today at 3 p.m. with home meets. The Mustangs host Peninsula while the Sea Hawks go against  Palos Verdes.

Helping Mira Costa win the boys team championship, Colin Le won the 100 Backstroke by more than two seconds.

El Segundo’s Dylan Chen smoked the competition in the 50 Freestyle. The junior had two first-place finishes and two runner-up performances.

Freshman Kai Albertson, of El Segundo, dropped more than two seconds off his time, putting many higher seeded swimmers behind in the 100 Breaststroke consolation final.

Mira Costa senior Kai Bathurst shaved 2.2 seconds off his best time to win the 100 Fly competition by almost four seconds.

Redondo senior Kiana Hamada, left, is congratulated by Mira Costa’s Riley Farrell after the Sea Hawks won the 200 Freestyle Relay and the girls team championship.
