Walk & Pumpkin Races!
It’s the annual Skechers Pier2Pier Friendship Walk followed by the Manhattan Beach Halloween Festival & Pumpkin Races with trick or treating, entertainment, a costume parade and downhill pumpkin races at Manhattan Pier. The day begins at 8 a.m. with Skechers Pier2Pier Friendship Walk registration; at 9 a.m., opening ceremonies and the walk begins. The world-famous downhill pumpkin races begin at noon heading downManhattan Beach Blvd.At 2:30 p.m., all hail the Pumpkin Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony; the kids costume parade at 3 – 4; and race finals, 4 – 6 p.m. and… listen up: there are pumpkin racecar kits available for $20, at GROW Produce, or build your own.
