“Dig Pink”

Mira Costa High School’s girls volleyball fundraiser raised more than $6,500 on Oct. 17 in donation to breast cancer research efforts. The event, called “DIG PINK,” was founded by Lisa Arce-Zimmerman in memory of her mother, who battled breast cancer. The team extends a special thanks to professional volleyball player Britt Hochevar, who donated $2,500 on behalf of the To the Moon and Back Foundation. Proceeds benefited Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation.
