TRAVEL: The wild colors of Nova Scotia

The wild colors of Nova Scotia, by Jefferson Graham for the #PhotowalksTV series

Mark your calendars for next September and October.

By the time you read this, the top tourist spots in Nova Scotia will be closed for the season, but you really want to come back in 2024.

Why? Imagine a short plane ride to Boston, renting a car, driving a few hours through Maine and hopping a ferry ride to land you somewhere with more color than you’re accustomed to seeing on homes and storefronts, friendly people, and old-timey Scottish fiddle music and bagpipes on seemingly every corner.

I just put a short video together on the wild colors of Nova Scotia, which bring a pop art sensibility to an idyllic coastal setting. I’m currently working on an extended director’s cut that will post in late October, so stay tuned.
