Pastoral – Garden-to-Table Dining Event

Two-hundred lucky guests enjoyed a beautiful autumn evening featuring an exclusive local and sustainable four course menu, wine, and signature natural cocktail served outside, surrounded by nature to benefit the Land Conservancy. Terri A. Haack, President of Terranea Resort and a member of the Conservancy’s President’s Advisory Council was delighted for Terranea to host this special evening, saying “Executive Chef Ibarra and the Conservancy team have created a wonderful experience to benefit and support an important cause, close to all of our hearts – preserving our natural landscape.” Local artist Dan Dempster donated a beautiful plein air painting as a door prize and a raffle for an amazing Terranea Oceanview Villa Get Away raised critical funds. The event highlighted the Conservancy’s native habitat restoration to preserve the Peninsula’s natural landscape. Major partners of the annual benefit event are Terranea Resort and Whole Foods Market Torrance, with generous support from: Arthur and Jeanne Hadley, Harlyne Norris,, Bruce Biesman-Simons and Hale Field, Bolton Engineering, Becky Cool – RM Cool Company, James and Diane Staes, The Jacqueline Glass Family, Diana Heffernan-Schrader and Steve Schrader, Chuck and Betsy Miller, Phillips 66, along with many other community supporters.
