Summer Calendar 2016: SEALab

SEALab  

SEA (Science Education Adventure) Lab is a hands-on science center devoted to marine conservation and education run by the LA Conservation Corps. Two-week long summer camps for kids are offered for ages four to six. The Mini Mariners is a half-day program that takes place mostly at the aquarium with visits to the beach. The Ocean Explorers is a full day for kids ages seven to 11, consisting of kayaking and tidepool exploring. The registration deadline is June 15.

Public tours of the SEA Lab are available Tuesday through Friday at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (July & August). Fish feedings every Saturday at noon. 1021 N. Harbor Dr. (310) 318-7432. LAcorps.org/programs/sea-lab.
