Brian Grebbien gets a hug from daughter Katie at a Thursday ceremony marking his promotion to captain of the Hermosa Beach Fire Department.
Also present at the firehouse were Grebbien’s wife Wendy, son Kevin and daughter Kelly, City Council members, and officials of the city administration, fire and police departments.
