The fourth annual “Swim the Avenues” open-water swimming event at Redondo Beach has been postponed from Sunday, Sept. 11, until Sunday, Oct. 9, due to the sewage spill near Torrance Beach, and rain in the forecast this weekend.
Los Angeles County Lifeguards made the recommendation to delay the event, along with Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors.
