AAA is vernacular for high quality. Standard & Poors and minor league baseball use it to denote the top echelon. Perhaps it’s no coincidence, then, that the South Bay chose AAA – formerly the American Automobile Association – as its preferred travel agency.
“Our agents are very service-oriented and we have a really high standard for customer service,” branch manager Patti Brown says. “I have wonderful travel agents – they are professional and friendly and very personable, and they all have travel experience.”
Brown manages the branch in Manhattan Beach but subscribes to AAA’s nationwide standards for customer service.
AAA is a full-service travel agency specializing in tours and cruises. The destinations its customers seem to prefer include Hawai’i, Europe, and the Caribbean, though AAA can arrange tour packages to anywhere in the world. Agents can also work via the telephone, and often do continue to service loyal customers who have moved away from the area.
