Not too long ago, expensive Mexican food in the South Bay was pretty much identical to the same stuff served in cheaper places. The only difference was the surroundings. Those days are gone. Over the past decade that has changed, with restaurants opening that offer both greater variety and high quality. Palmilla stands out for both. The seafood is fresh, the meats are top quality and the guacamole is made when you order it. It all adds up to a fresher, better experience.
