Mental health training, BCHD

Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The blended training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis. It is an 8-hour training that requires 2 hours of pre-work and 6 hours of in-person instruction. Lunch will be provided for attendees as well as training materials. 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. 514 N.
