Surfer, sailor, skier and mentor Dick Mobley was returned to the sea for afinal time on July 17 by friends from his wide ranging interests. The paddleout was held at 22nd Street in Hermosa, where Mobley once launched his garage-built catamarans. Mobley owned the Ski and Surf shop for 40 years, before retiring in 2005.
