World Series of Volleyball

The weeklong World Series of Volleyball, featuring local pros such as Holly McPeak and Kerri Walsh Jennings, culminates this weekend in Long Beach. The unprecedented event is bringing the world’s greatest beach volleyball players in a way that’s never been seen in the world of professional sports. Sanctioned by FIVB, the sport’s international governing body, the ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball is more than a volleyball tournament; it’s a week-long festival celebrating “all things beach,” including sports, music, culture and community. General admission is free. See wsobv.com for schedules and more info.
