Best of the Beach 2016, Best Underground Shaper: Dan Cobley, Danc Surfboards

Dan Cobley of Danc Surfboards struck back, reclaiming his title from last year’s winner Jose Barahona, who shapes in the neighboring bay at Mangiagli Surfboard Manufacturing. Cobley had been the winner the previous four years.

“I have my tight following,” Dan Cobley said. “I work my best to make stunning custom handshapes that cater to my customer tastes and experience. Thank you South Bay. I definitely feel the love.”
