Best Tequila Bar, Best Margarita

Coyote Cantina's decor is as inspiring as its menu.

Best of the Beach logoCoyote Cantina – With 115 different brands of tequila, Coyote Cantina boasts some of the best prices in town, especially on their higher end models which run $10-15 less than competitors, (Don Julio Real is just $35 a shot).

Opened in 1999, Matthew McQuaid bought the place in 2004 and made it a must for tequila, with eight specialty maggies on the menu, available on the rocks or blended, CC has become famous for its Silver Lightening Margarita which contains a double shot of Premium Silver tequila, their own Coyote Cantina margarita mix, available in regular and low-cal and for purchase at $3 a bottle, and a floater of grand Marnier. Try their “Condo” Margarita, a smaller version of the House, during Happy Hour, Monday-Friday, 5-6:30pm for $4. Also on the HH menu are $2 tacos, (beef, chicken or carnitas), $2 cheese quesadilla, $3 chicken quesadilla, $4 queso dip, 50 cent taquitos and $3 draughts and house wines. The bar has two flat screens for sports fans and the regular menu serves some of the best Mexican around town.
